The late foliar application of phosphorus and nitrogen in combination with 2,4-D amine for accelerating maturation and yields in rice

In pot trials with rice, foliar application of solutions containing ammonium sulphate or superphosphate with 0.01% 2,4-D amine at the milk-ripe stage accelerated translocation of metabolites from leaves to the grain and maturation by 5-7 days, increased leaf P contents (with P application), activities of ATPase and cytochrome oxidase and paddy yields.
