The possibilities of using the fungus Aschersonia for control of the greenhouse whitefly

The possibilities of using the fungus Aschersonia for control of the greenhouse whitefly

Zakhist Roslinrecd 1977; (22): 53-56

The fungus Aschersonia aleyrodis infects larvae of Trialeurodes vaporariorum (Westw.) and was tested for its effectiveness for control of the whitefly in greenhouses in the Ukraine (USSR). The optimum mode of use appeared to be as a water suspension containing between 5 X 106 and 8 X 107 spores/ml.
