The proteins of honeybee haemolymph. I. Larvae, pupae and newly emerged adults

The proteins of honeybee haemolymph. I. Larvae, pupae and newly emerged adults

Apidologie 6(3): 207-218

The different fractions of the protein spectra have been analysed qualitatively and quantitatively by electrophoresis on polyacrylamide gel. The spectra consisted of 22 fractions belonging to 6 main groups with molecular weights from 350 000 down to 50 000. The results show the changes which occur during development; differences in the spectra of individuals were only quantitative.C.
