The rate of application of mineral fertilizer to potatoes. IV. The effect of increasing rates of nitrogen fertilizer on the content of different forms of nitrogen and the quantitative composition of the amino acids in the tubers

The rate of application of mineral fertilizer to potatoes. IV. The effect of increasing rates of nitrogen fertilizer on the content of different forms of nitrogen and the quantitative composition of the amino acids in the tubers

Pamietnik Pulawski (63): 123-142

In an experiment in which 0-225 kg/ha N, 120-150 kg/ha K2O and 75 kg/ha P2O5 were applied, N fertilizer affected the contents of total N, protein N and non-protein N. The contents of NO3-N and NH4-N were affected more by the stage of development than by N fertilizer.
