The role of uncertainty in horticultural farm and work management

, : The role of uncertainty in horticultural farm and work management. Acta Horticulturae (77): 145-147

Considerable difficulties are encountered in planning farm work with inadequate data. Uncertainty about results makes decision-making in the course of production difficult. Some causes of uncertainty are examined. Probable values of changes, with upper and lower limits, must be determined together with the effect of individual factors on uncertainty in yield, taking into consideration quality, quantity and time.
