The use of physical and biochemical indices of boar semen in relation to the development of storage methods

The addition of potassium ions, unitiol and urea to the diluent during the processing of frozen semen improved the motility, survival and fertilising ability of spermatozoa. Removal of the seminal plasma improved sperm motility and survival after dilution, but adversely affected fertilising ability.
