The yield, moisture and chemical composition of some grasses grown in Malaysia

Kajian Veterinaire 6(2): 81-88

Values are tabulated for Mauritius grass (Brachiaria brizantha), signal grass (B. decumbens), para grass (B. mutica), African star grass (Cynodon plectostachyus), pangola grass (Digitaria decumbens), guinea grass (Panicum maximum), P. maximum Coloniao, Pennisetum purpureum (Napier or elephant grass), P. purpureum Uganda and Setaria sphacelata cut after 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 weeks.
