Toasted rapeseed oilmeal in feeds for broiler ducks

Ducklings in 4 groups of about 60 were fed from day-old on complete feeds with 5, 10 or 15% heat-treated rapeseed oilmeal. Control ducks got 10% soya bean oilmeal. Weights at 3 weeks old were 1008, 895, 775 and 1016 and at 8 weeks were 2603, 2519, 2496 and 2679 g with 5, 10, 15% or no rapeseed oilmeal.
