Translocation of a systemic fungicide in Phaseolus vulgaris inoculated with Uromyces phaseoli var. typica

Translocation of a systemic fungicide in Phaseolus vulgaris inoculated with Uromyces phaseoli var. typica

Revista Ceres 24(136): 549-562

Upward, downward and lateral translocation of oxycarboxin was studied in primary (PL) and trifoliate (TL) leaves of 15-day-old beans inoculated with U. appendiculatus. Oxycarboxin at 2000 p.p.m. was applied by spraying or by immersing the leaf in the fungicide solution with or without a coadjuvant (Esapon or Extravon). Lateral translocation between PL occurred only when one of them was immersed and the coadjuvants hastened this process.
