2. In successive periods 6 Bulgarian Brown calves of about 200 kg liveweight were given urea and minerals in a block or as a urea concentrate, Dekhi 100. There was no difference in digestibility of nutrients. Utilisation of N was 33% of total intake and 63% of N from urea, and was greater for the lick than for the concentrate.
