Weed control in transplanted tomatoes with metribuzin in combination with other herbicides

Weed control in transplanted tomatoes with metribuzin in combination with other herbicides

Proceedings of the Northeastern Weed Science Society, New York City: 219-224

Tomatoes Heinz 1350 were transplanted into a sandy loam treated with trifluralin at 0.5 lb/acre incorporated, diphenamid at 4 lb, U-27 267 (3,4,5-tribromo-N,N alpha -trimethylpyrazole-1-acetamide) at 1.5 lb or metribuzin at 0.25 lb/acre. Only U-27 267 gave acceptable weed control used on its own.
