Forskning og Forsoek i Landbruket 29(5): 421-436

Results are given of studies in 1974-7 on wound healing in potato tubers using a rapid fluorescence microscope technique (described) to study wound periderm formation. Effects of tuber bruising and abrasion, storage temp. of 3, 5 or 7 deg C, pre-storage treatment at 13-15 deg for 1, 2 or 3 wk and different levels of storage, RH and ventilation were studied.
