Agronomic value and cold-keeping of eggplant (Solanum melongena L.) varieties and hybrids

The highest marketable and total yields were obtained from the ISPORT hybrids 30-71, 23-71 and 31-71. The earliest ripening hybrids were ISPORT 21-71, 23-71 and 104-74. The most suitable for cold storage were ISPORT 54-71, 31-71 and 105-74, and the Italian Canellina Sarnese 101-69.
