An econometric model of the beef cattle market of the United Kingdom

Econometric models presented to the Beef Milk Symposium: 191-220

This model aims at an explanation of the cyclical behaviour of the UK market for beef, and the general line pursued in its construction was to obtain an insight into the economic and non-economic factors influencing the process of beef production. This was attempted at the expense of the application of theoretically sophisticated estimation methods for the parameters of the model.
