Essential oil from the leaves of A. marmelos exerted significant antifungal activity against Aspergillus niger, A. flavus, Microsporum gypseum, Trichophyton rubrum, Histoplasma capsulatum, Nocardia brasiliensis, Phialophora verrucosa, Candida albicans and M. cookei.
