Avoidance of antitranspirant by western mosquitofish, Gambusia affinis affinis (Pisces: Poeciliidae)

Avoidance of antitranspirant by western mosquitofish, Gambusia affinis affinis (Pisces: Poeciliidae)

Southwestern Naturalist, 241: 87-91

Western mosquitofish (Gambusia affinis affinis) were tested in a y-maze for avoidance of Folicote, an antitranspirant chemical proposed for spraying riparian areas in the southwestern United States to reduce phreatophyte vegetation water loss.
