Abstract
Some 28 mono- and di-acyl derivatives were synthesized and tested in vitro for inhibition of the Hill reaction and in the field for herbicidal activity against a number of common crop species. Results are listed in tables and indicate that a few of the compounds are of potential interest as herbicides because of their herbicidal properties and their selectivity in some crop species.
