Cacao (Theobroma cacao L.). The influence of budwood cutting frequency on shoot growth

Cacao (Theobroma cacao L.). The influence of budwood cutting frequency on shoot growth

Menara Perkebunan 45(6): 279-285

Budwood cutting frequencies of once every 4, 5 or 6 months (all existing budwood being excised), or once every 6 months (with one shoot left) were compared with excising 2-3 shoots, not at the same time, at 8 months (control). Data are presented on budwood length and girth after each of 3 cutting cycles.
