Two instances of calcium toxicosis in broiler chicks are described. In one, mortality began when chicks were 3 days old and continued until the flock was 2 weeks old. Diarrhoea, intense thirst and paralysis with tetanic convulsions were seen clinically, and PM lesions included dehydration, uric acid accumulation over the visceral organs and in the joints of the legs and wings, and severe nephrosis.
