In a field trial in 1969-73 at Pliesovce, natural grassland on a N.-facing slope at alt. 445 m and on a S.-facing slope at alt. 435 m was given no fertilizer, 32 kg P + 100 kg K or PK + 120, 240, or 480 kg N/ha; the N was applied in 4 equal split dressings in spring and after the 1st 3 cuts and the sward was cut 4 times/yr.
