Chemical control of collar rot of fenugreek

Chemical control of collar rot of fenugreek

Pesticides 12(1): 30-31

Of 6 fungicides tested against Rhizoctonia solani, ceresan wet inhibited growth in vitro even at 0.1% whereas blitox, brassicol and brestan were ineffective even at 0.3%. When tested in vivo against the disease of fenugreek (Trigonella foenum-graecum), captan was effective both as a soil mix and soil drench while brassicol was superior as a seed dressing.
