Chemical immunization of tomato against late blight

Treatment with carbathion (an analogue of Vapam) considerably increased resistance to Phytophthora infestans. In Ural'skii mnogoplodnyi the resistance was maintained in the 4th generation and in Nevskii in the 2nd and 3rd. The treatment accelerated ripening by 12-15 days and increased yield by 10-15%.
