, : Chemical thinning problems on apricot. Acta Horticulturae (80): 315-318

In a series of trials Pomonit (potassium salt of NAA) and Amid-thin (amide of NAA) decreased fruit set in Hungarian Best apricots and increased yield in the year after treatment. The thinning action of Pomonit was greatest at low temperature but the effect of Amid-thin was not temperature-dependent. The effectiveness of both materials depended on fruit length at the time of treatment.
