Data to the chemical variability of Convallaria majalis L

, : Data to the chemical variability of Convallaria majalis L. Acta Horticulturae (73): 35-45

Hungarian populations of C. majalis examined contained different proportions of the botanical forms monophylla, majalis (standard 2-leaved type) and trifolia. It was shown that coherent rhizomes could bear shoots with different numbers of leaves and flowers and the various forms could be attributed to differences in plant age. The form majalis, which comprised about 84% of above-ground shoots measured, was further investigated and samples divided into leaves shorter and longer than 12 cm.
