Races 201, 202, 203, 207, 211, 213, 226, 227, 230, 236, 237, 238, 258, 263, 265, 276, 277, 279 and A were identified in 191 samples on oats in 1970-72. Races 238 and 263 predominated in 1970; and 263 and 276 in 1971-72. The relative frequency of the most common races in 1959-72 is given. Among 191 isolates from samples collected on oats between 1970 and 1972, 19 races were identified.
