Effect of ammonium salts on bentazon and glyphosate activity on yellow nutsedge (Cyperus rotundus L.)
Bentazone and glyphosate were applied at 1.1 kg/ha plus or minus various ammonium salts to Cyperus esculentus plants 15 cm high. Ammonium phosphate, ammonium chloride and ammonium thiocyanate at 4.4 and 8.8 kg/ha or ammonium sulphate at 8.8 kg significantly increased the phytotoxicity of bentazone.
