In trials in 1973-4 in Zarafshan Valley of Uzbekistan with rice Uzros 7-13 given 180 kg N + 60 kg P2O5 + 60 kg K2O/ha, application of 0.5-6 kg/ha of B as boric acid, Cu as copper sulphate, Zn as zinc sulphate or Mn as manganese sulphate increased av. paddy yields from 6.95 t/ha by 180-840, 420-810, 300-610 and 270-550 kg/ha, resp.
