Effect of vitamycin and a dried acidophilic preparation on resistance of replacement chickens

Effect of vitamycin and a dried acidophilic preparation on resistance of replacement chickens

Ptitsevodstvo (6): 16-17

Vitamycin is described as a preparation obtained from Actinomyces aureoverticillatus and is rich in vitamin A. For 150 days 1470 chickens in 3 groups were given a basal diet alone or with vitamycin, which had vitamin A activity 1 mg/g, at 0.8 g initially and later 0.4 g/kg diet or with 1% of a dried acidophilic preparation Average daily gains were 10.9, 10.6 and 11.2 g, and survival was 94.7, 96.8 and 96.7%.
