Effect of waste fat in feeds for chickens on haematological and enzymological indices and mineral values in blood serum

Effect of waste fat in feeds for chickens on haematological and enzymological indices and mineral values in blood serum

Sbornik Vedeckych Praci Vyzkumneho Ustavu Vyzivy Zvirat, Pohorelice 11: 85-92

On a diet with 5% waste fat, cocks had in blood serum, activities for aspartate aminotransferase 2.81, alanine aminotransferase 0.22, leucine aminopeptidase 26 and alkaline phosphatase 31 mu mol/ml h. The first 2 values were not significantly different from those of similar chickens on a diet without extra fat but the third was significantly greater and the fourth significantly less. Acid phosphatase was 3.5 times greater on the diet with fat.
