Effect of wind erosion on the properties of Cis-Caucasian chernozems

The changes that have occurred over the last 15 years in clay loam and coarse clay chernozems under the effect of wind erosion are tabulated, graphed, and discussed. In this period, the soils have lost from 10 to 20 cm of the initial thickness of their humus profile, which amounts to 50 to 100 metric tons of humus, from 3 to 6 metric tons of nitrogen, and from 3 to 6 metric tons of phosphorus per hectare.
