Effects of N-dimethylaminosuccinamic acid on mineral nutrition of one-year-old apple trees

, : Effects of N-dimethylaminosuccinamic acid on mineral nutrition of one-year-old apple trees. Acta Horticulturae (80): 71-73

Alar at 500 to 3500 p.p.m. applied to mid-shoot leaves of Starkspur Golden Delicious on MM.106 affected mineral composition only when applied at the time of maximum growth rate. At 500, 1000 and 2000 p.p.m. it induced higher levels of K and less of Ca, Fe and Mn than in the control.

Summer sprays of Alar and thinning had no measurable effect on apple shape. Ringing increased fru...
