In groups of pigs given 4% hydrolysis yeasts (control), or 4%, half of which had been enriched with 5% lysine, or 4% paraffin yeasts, weight gains and intake of concentrate per kg gained were similar, 630 to 640 g and 3.31 to 3.35 kg. Meat samples had no 3,4-benzpyrene.
