Genetics of rat cardiac allograft rejection in matings between a low-responding strain and a strain of high immunogenicity

Genetics of rat cardiac allograft rejection in matings between a low-responding strain and a strain of high immunogenicity

Transplantation Proceedings 11(3): 1622-1625

The ACI strain shows high immune responsiveness to grafts, whereas the Brown-Norway (BN) strain responds poorly in proliferative reactions with mitogens and in the mixed lymphocyte reaction (MLR).
