Abstract
The weaning weight of lambs sired by rams with 48s wool was 2.8-3.9 kg higher than that of lambs sired by rams with 50s wool. Postweaning growth rate was better in Romney Marsh lambs than in crossbreds. Carcass characters were similar in all types of progeny studied.
