High-speed aseptic packaging system

A description is given of the Erca Neutral Aseptic System. A multilayer plastics film is unreeled, and immediately prior to entering a sterilization tunnel, the film is delaminated to provide a polypropylene/polystyrene body-forming layer, and a polyethylene lidding layer. Both are sterilized in a tunnel. Container bodies are formed from the body-forming layer, pass to the aseptic filling station, and then enter the sealing station.
