Histopathological lesions in mice immunized against acute toxoplasmosis

Histopathological lesions in mice immunized against acute toxoplasmosis

Proceedings of the 2nd European Multicolloquy of Parasitology, 1-6 September, 1975, Trogir, Yugoslavia: 33-37

Mice were immunized with the slightly virulent K S strain of Toxoplasma gondii and then inoculated with the virulent RH strain once or several times. Later they were killed for examination. In the brain there were chronic lymphocytic leptomeningitis or encephalitis, and cysts of Toxoplasma. In the spleen and liver there was proliferation of lymphocytes and macrophages.
