Identification of genes for resistance to Puccinia striiformis in winter wheat varieties sown in the northern Caucasus

Each of the varieties studied, Avrora Kavkaz Skorospelka 35 and Bezostaya 2 was found to contain a single dominant resistance gene identical to the known genes Yr2 and Yr3c and effective at all stages of plant development.
