Immunological, clinical and haematological investigations on sheep and calves experimentally infected with bovine leukosis virus

Immunological, clinical and haematological investigations on sheep and calves experimentally infected with bovine leukosis virus

Sbornik Nauchnykh Trudov Moskovskaya Veterinarnaya Akademiya 107: 24-28

Experiments on 22 3-month-old Karakul lambs and 15 indigenous, newborn calves commenced at the Uzbek Veterinary Research Institute in 1977. There were inoculated i/p, i/v and i/d with leukocytes from leukotic cows, or the fluid from leukocyte cultures. Two lambs developed persistent lymphocytosis and died from lymphoid leukosis after 8 months.
