Induction of mammary prolactin receptors and lactose synthesis after ovariectomy in the pregnant mouse

Induction of mammary prolactin receptors and lactose synthesis after ovariectomy in the pregnant mouse

Endocrinologia Japonica 25(2): 157-161

In pregnant KA mice, ovariectomized on day 13 of pregnancy, specific binding of 125I-labelled prolactin, and lactose and RNA contents in the mammary gland remained low until 8 h, sharply increased 24 h and decreased 72 h after ovariectomy.
