Inheritance of tannins in sorghum plant components



Agronomy Abstracts: 68



Results of analysis of diallel crosses of six sterility maintainer lines and of five fertility restorer lines showed that for tannin content, general combining ability effects were significant in all forage parts in both diallel crosses and that specific combining ability effects were significant in all forage parts in the sterility maintainer lines and in stems only in the fertility restorer lines.
