Inheritance of yield components in intervarietal flax hybrids

In height, fibre yield and number of capsules and seeds per plant, the hybrids showed intermediate inheritance. In crosses involving the tall varieties K6, Pskov 1 and L1120, up to 20% tall transgressive forms segregated in the F2. The highest fibre yields were obtained from crosses involving K6, P255, T10, Stremutka, T9 and Pskov 1.
