Lactation persistency and some physiological characteristics in first lactation of German Black Pied F2 generation

Lactation persistency and some physiological characteristics in first lactation of German Black Pied F2 generation

Stocarstvo 33(11/12): 413-419

In a continuing study of German Black Pied cattle imported to Kosovo 1st lactation performance of 126 F2 progeny was analysed. Mean values with s.e. for the progeny and F1 dams resp. include: duration of lactation, 374 plus or minus 5 and 383 plus or minus 7 days; lactation milk yield, 3997 plus or minus 98 and 3644 plus or minus 36 kg; and milk fat, 3.74 plus or minus 0.03 and 4.01 plus or minus 0.02%.
