Levels of endogenous auxins and gibberellins in rhododendron stem cuttings in relation to rooting

Endogenous gibberellin and auxin levels were determined in the basal 15 mm of stem cuttings taken from 7 rhododendron cvs in October. The cvs differed in rooting capacity and, with one exception, showed an inverse relationship between rooting and gibberellin level and a direct relationship between rooting and auxin level.
