Mineral composition was estimated of furcellaria algae (Furcellaria fastigiata) obtained by trawlers or washed up by sea from the littoral of Latvian and Lithuanian SSR. Mineral content of the algae was in the following decreasing order: K, Ca, Mg, Na, Fe, Mn, Zn, Cu.
