2. Rats were given by mouth or by vein denine, uanine, ytosine, racil and hymine, while ucleic acids were given by mouth. The distribution of 14C activity in the carcass, liver, kidneys and depot fat was estimated 24 h later and also after 21 days. A large proportion of the activity remained in the body 24 h after denine by vein and also after ucleic acids by mouth.
