Pattern of occurrence of Acyrthosiphon solani in soya bean. Varietal differences and relationship with soya bean dwarf disease

Pattern of occurrence of Acyrthosiphon solani in soya bean. Varietal differences and relationship with soya bean dwarf disease

Bulletin of Hokkaido Prefectural Agricultural Experiment Stations Hokkaidoritsu Nogyo Shikenjo Shuho (40): 51-60

Studies of Shirotsurunoko and Koganejiro, both susceptible to soya bean dwarf disease, and Ohoju and Adams, both resistant, over three years indicated that the resistant varieties had reduced infestation (x) by Acyrthosiphon (Aulacorthum) solani, the vector of the disease, and a lower incidence (y) of the disease at a given infestation level, compared with the susceptible varieties.
