Processing properties of milk and cheese quality in relation to stall and pasture feeding of cows in the summer period

2 matched groups of 12 Black Pied cows on the 'Voronovo' state farm in Moscow region received a common balanced ration at the end of the winter period. During May-Oct., group (i) went out to pasture, while group (ii) received indoors cut grass from this pasture. Mean daily milk yields in the preliminary and experimental periods were resp.: (i) 23.9 and 19.6 kg, and (ii) 23.7 and 17.6 kg.
