In plot experiments in 1965-74, 1st growth of meadow fescue was cut at 7-day intervals from the start of growth until seed ripening. Simple correlation coefficients were calculated between DM yield, DM content of DM, CP, CF, total water-soluble carbohydrates and other carbohydrates and uptake of N, P, K, Ca, Mg and Na, their utilization and ratios between these nutrients.
