Relative potency of some organophosphorus insecticides, antifeedants and their combinations against the cotton leafworm, Spodoptera littoralis (Boisd.)

The results are presented of laboratory studies in Egypt to investigate the effects on larvae of Spodoptera littoralis (Boisd.) of the insecticides profenofos (Curacron), tetrachlorvinphos (Gardona), phosfolan (Cyolane) and acephate (Orthene) and the antifeedants fentin hydroxide (Du-Ter), Brestan (fentin acetate with maneb) and cyhexatin (Plictran), alone or in insecticide-antifeedant combinations.
