The Crimson Sweet was resistant and most hybrids tested were not infected by anthracnose (Colletotrichum lagenarium). F1 hybrids of some combinations showed partial dominance of tolerance of F. sp. Crimson Sweet was resistant to Fusarium sp. Most hybrids tested were not infected by Colletotrichum lagenarium.
